Lem Amero

<p>Director, writer, producer, actor, and editor Lemuel Firth Amero was born on September 24, 1937 in Gloucester, Massachusetts. His father John was a fisherman while his mother Gladys was a housewife. Following graduation from Gloucester High School in 1955, Lem moved to New York City and worked as a stage manager at various nightclubs including the Bal Tabarin on West 46th Street.
